It hailed a lot.

And now, a distraction. Pick two characters and I'll write you a drabble.

Elrond drabble at tolkien_weekly.

Today is family Christmas at gran's. Will probably not be around much today.

Title: Two in the Garden
Rating: G
Pairing: Merry/Eowyn
Notes: Not my characters, yadda yadda. This is for Dana because she made me pretty things and can I have them now pleeeease? P.S. Fluff. Sorta.

I'll take care of you, if you need it. )

Title: And So it Goes
Rating: PG
Pairing: Aragorn/Boromir/Arwen

Time went on.
fantasticmuse: Shocking (Hello Stud)
The first in a series of holiday drabbles, written at [ profile] hyel's prompting.

Not title as of yet, but you're subject to it anyway. It's a double drabble. And as a side note, the last line comes from a song by Beethoven.

Rating: G
Pairing: Eowyn/Faramir

Title: Prism
Rating: PG
Summary: Each moment a color, her life a Prism.

Notes, etc.: Eowyn fic. A series of 8 drabbles. These are not my characters they are Tolkien’s, and I am making no money. Seriously. College student, yo.

Part of this was written for the [ profile] lotr100 color challenge. It inspired the rest of the fic.

Title: Sharing the Spoils of War

Rating: PG13 to R depending on your sensitivity. For slash and blood.

Summary: Eomer takes something that belongs to his sister.

Notes, etc.: Inspired by a Theban Band manip, originally intended as [ profile] captaincooze’s Christmas present. I realize it’s now the middle of March. =D

The characters belong to J.R.R. Tolkien; I’m just playing with them. No profit for me from this and all that jazz.

Whatever it was, it wasn’t proper. )

Am back on my computer. Yay!

Title: Well Loved
Rating: G
Notes: A lesson in trust and letting go.

Am quite bored. And slightly terrified by the look on Elijah Wood's face in the Mardi Gras pictures. I'll link it when I can find it again.

I'm ready for today to be done. I have two more classes, plus a phoneathon tonight. The phoning's not so bad- last time I called a dead guy. That was interesting.

Here. Have a drabble.

Shimmer and Heat

Silverandgold. That was her hair. And her eyes and everything about her, really. You could hardly see her for the shimmer around her.

And at first, Sam was blinded. She was an elf. He thought her to be a world away, something untouchable.

But he looks back now, in the moments they stop to rest near Mordor. And he thinks that maybe time took the shimmer away. And that maybe, now, he could understand the grief and strength mingled in her eyes.

Then they begin to move again. And Sam forgets everything but the heat of Mordor and the ring.

Title: Without Words
Rating: PG
Notes: Eowyn/Merry. And a certain hobbit’s foot fixation. They belong to Professor Tolkien. I like constructive comments. =D

Well, the muse finally bit. I was able to finish one of the things that has been gathering dust since before Christmas.

Title: Solace
Rating: PG
Notes: Hey, [ profile] cruisedirector! Remember the Aragorn/Theoden I promised? Yeah, this is it. It's been re-written twice, and refused to be smut, but here it is anyway. Insert standard "these are not my characters" here. Unbeta'ed as well. You've been warned.

With swords and mail gone, they sat alone and unarmed against the silence  )

Notes: A silly little drabble for Dana. The characters are J.R.R. Tolkien's. So there.

He pined. They tried to cheer him up, but Pippin would have none of it.

He didn't eat, slept restlessly, wandered about with a silly moon-eyed look on his face. They took turns pleading with him, explaining his foolishness very carefully.

But Pippin would have none of it.

He was a lovesick tween, and that was that. Eventually, they just shook their heads and watched as Pippin declared he would 'proclaim his feelings, once and for all!' and rushed outside.

Outside on a bench, Faramir blinked in confusion as a blur of hobbit rushed up and kissed him soundly on the lips.

Title: Quenched
Word Count: 100
Team: Men
Characters: Aragron, The King of the Dead

The way is shut.

Family Christmas on my mom's side today. Huge, huge event. Actually, I'm supposed to be there right now. Better fly!

Hrm. Well, I guess it took me long enough to get this posted here. Oh well, such is life- in my case: boring, but somehow busy.

Title: Pivot
Rating: G
Characters: Boromir, Finduilas
Summary: Finduilas and her eldest son, in full circle.
Notes: For the latest challenge: soldier, thought, history, return; accepting.
I’m not sure I got the mood as well as I wanted to. Feedback is really, really nice. =D

Title: For Old Time’s Sake
Rating: PG
Paring: Merry/Pippin
Summary: A letter and an adventure.
Notes: Blame it on Dana. Slight schmoop warning. These are not mine, nor do I make money off them. Based on a passage in Appendix B of Return of the King. It's early, so I apologize for the quality of these notes.

Livejournal was being a bitch yesterday, so I waited until today to post this here.

Title: Earthly Ships and Songs of Grief
Rating: PG
Characters: Aragorn, Arwen- A/B and A/A pairings
Notes: Two ficlets that can stand alone, but are intended to be read together. For the Ringprov song line challenge, except each part is accompanied by a verse, rather than just a line. The song is "My Lover's Gone" by Dido. Very, very haunting. *<3 Dido* Feedback is always appreciated and as always, these characters belong to J.R.R. Tolkien and his estate.

No earthly ships will ever bring him home again. )

A drabbly thing for [ profile] lotr100. Is Eowyn/Faramir. :D

The Color of Love )

Anyway, I like Thursdays. They're good for slacking off.

How're all of you doing? Come on, comment and tell me about your week. I don't care who you are, just do it. It'll be fun, I promise. *eg*
