Um.

I just got a call from a place where I sent my resume LAST NIGHT. They were very interested in me, but sad to know I don't live in Minneapolis because they want someone there RIGHT NOW.

He said that he's looking through other applicants, but implied that I was his best choice right now. Then he said he'd call me later in the week.

I told him I could find a place to stay in the city short notice, if they really needed.

He said "that's good to know. I'll be talking you later this week."


WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, PEOPLE? Am I on the verge of getting a job?

Well, here's to hoping. And of course it happens at a bad time, lol, when I'm not three days into a new job and now possibly having to leave. Oh well. I told them it was going to happen and they were ok with it from the beginning.

Anyway, I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but I am pretty thrilled that I have proof that people will actually consider hiring me. That is a relief all on its own.
