Ladies and the uh, two, I think, Gentlemen of my flist:
The sun has seen fit to return to North Dakota.
Oh, it's been a rough three weeks- first four inches of snow, then rain to wash it all away, then another four inches of snow and finally, last night after a partially sunny day-- it rained.
Now the snow is mostly gone, and the sun is shining. Looks to stay that way for a while.
I am officially returned to the land of the living. =D
Sooooo.... what else? I've been writing a story about Lesbian Cops of the FUTURE! It's truly fabulous and whenever I speak of it I feel compelled to describe it just that way-- Lesbian Cops of the FUTURE!
Also, Kurt Vonnegut died and I am so emo over this. SO emo.
The Boy:Seriously....I have never seen an author affect so many people.....Everyone who has read him that I know. loves him
Me: Yeah.
Me: He had a great, accessible voice, which really works.
The Boy: MMMMhmmmM....And he was in Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield. He was...he gets paid to write an essay on his own book, and gets a b-, "Hey Kurt, can you read lips, FUCK YOU! Next time I'll call robert Ludlum!"
Me: lol
The Boy: Yeah. I just wanna read a bunch of Vonnegut now
Me: :) He'd appreciate that.
The Boy: And I probably will
Me: Good.
The Boy: Yeah
The Boy: But I have to go....
Me: Okay. have a good night
The Boy: See Ya...po tee weet
Can you tell Slaughterhouse 5 was one of the formative books of his childhood? Mine, too, for that matter.

And now I've gone to work and come back and saw I forgot to post this, oh dear. *hits post*
