Title: Sharing the Spoils of War

Summary: Eomer takes something that belongs to his sister.

Notes, etc.: Inspired by a Theban Band manip, originally intended as captaincooze’s Christmas present. I realize it’s now the middle of March. =D

Am quite bored. And slightly terrified by the look on Elijah Wood's face in the Mardi Gras pictures. I'll link it when I can find it again.

I'm ready for today to be done. I have two more classes, plus a phoneathon tonight. The phoning's not so bad- last time I called a dead guy. That was interesting.

Shimmer and Heat

Silverandgold. That was her hair. And her eyes and everything about her, really. You could hardly see her for the shimmer around her.

And at first, Sam was blinded. She was an elf. He thought her to be a world away, something untouchable.

But he looks back now, in the moments they stop to rest near Mordor. And he thinks that maybe time took the shimmer away. And that maybe, now, he could understand the grief and strength mingled in her eyes.

Then they begin to move again. And Sam forgets everything but the heat of Mordor and the ring.

Rating: PG
Notes: Eowyn/Merry. And a certain hobbit’s foot fixation. They belong to Professor Tolkien. I like constructive comments. =D

Declaration

He pined. They tried to cheer him up, but Pippin would have none of it.

He didn't eat, slept restlessly, wandered about with a silly moon-eyed look on his face. They took turns pleading with him, explaining his foolishness very carefully.

But Pippin would have none of it.

He was a lovesick tween, and that was that. Eventually, they just shook their heads and watched as Pippin declared he would 'proclaim his feelings, once and for all!' and rushed outside.

Outside on a bench, Faramir blinked in confusion as a blur of hobbit rushed up and kissed him soundly on the lips.

Hrm. Well, I guess it took me long enough to get this posted here. Oh well, such is life- in my case: boring, but somehow busy.

Title: Earthly Ships and Songs of Grief

Notes: Two ficlets that can stand alone, but are intended to be read together. For the Ringprov song line challenge, except each part is accompanied by a verse, rather than just a line.
