Okay, that's all I got. I'm off to Minneapolis for a couple days, to bother my brother and my cousin and hopefully kick some Lakeland Mirror ass at the Best of the Midwest convention.

Yes, I totally do have a newspaper nemesis, shut up.

Okay, fine. I have free time and can't seem to do anything else with myself. Let's do the "five things" meme, wherein you ask me to list five things, such as a character's favorite songs or summat.

Here is a list of my fandoms. I don't write for all of them, though. So I may have to turn down your request if I feel I don't know the character well enough.

And, if you so chose, you can go to thedeimos and look into the original fiction project that has devoured all my attention and ask about things there as well. Later, northfarthing (Queen Latifah)'s new shirt bleeds in the wash and stains all of hyelandia (Tia Carrere)'s underwear pink. Also, maetelle (Daniel Baldwin) learns a card trick from kerminator2003 (Jayne Mansfield). In the next town over, alabasterangel (Seann Scott) likes portable CD players, but faeryprincess32 (Jon Stewart) thinks they're disgusting. Afterwards, vocal_kitty (Danny Kaye) falls off twinkledru (Sarah Michelle Gellar)'s porch and gets hurt. (Part 1 of 2.)

Hm. Ten things I've done that others haven't. Well, I'm pretty boring, but I'll give it a shot.


1. Voluntarily spent two weeks of my life in the woods with no power or running water. (Good times, yes, Kristine?)

2. Played hide and seek in a pitch black movie theater, well after closing. As a 19-year-old.

3. Had cosmetic surgery. (Ask me about it, if you're curious- I'll tell you)

4. Spent the 4th of July with a stranger from Wisconsin in a foreign country.

5. Swam in the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Mediterranean Sea and the Mississippi River.

6. Celebrated my great-grandmother's 100 birthday. (She'll be 101 in August.)

7. Memorized 80 different Zip Codes and their relative places on a map.

8. Designed the front page of a year's worth of newspapers.

9. Achieved moderate success in both dance and figure skating.

10. Outrun a hurricane. danachan also did this!


Well, that wasn't so hard. Am certainly not as interesting as other people I've been reading about.

And now, I should really either do homework or go to bed.

So, I go back to school and I figured it'd be best to get all my clothes packed up today. I spent most of the day in my pj's and worked on packing untill I was finished.

And then I wanted a shower.

And then I realized I PACKED ALL MY CLOTHES.

God, I suck. *shakes head and unpacks a couple of outfits*

Break was so good. I think that the medicine I'm taking is helping a lot- my brain chemistry is really balancing out. I've always hated taking medicine- possibly because I had to have so much when I was younger- but this I think is really helping. It's about time!

Website I've been tinkering with is really coming along as well. It's not super pretty, as webistes go, but it's functional and it holds what I need it to. Have one part left to build and then I suppose you can see it. *g*

The Journal's called "Into my Garden of Magic," because my layout's all gardeny. It's from a song. It used to be called "Angry People Products," because that's the name of my imaginary company, created specifically to annoy the anal retentive. Ask me how!

The subtitle is "Come little children, I'll take you away" because it's the line just before "into my garden of magic." The song, btw, is one that Sarah Jessica Parker's character sings in Hocus Pocus. I always loved it.

My friends page is called "the lost and lovely" because you're all lovely and I like alliteration. Also: we're all a little lost.

My username is Fantasticmuse for no reason at all. When I was naming a website, it just popped into my head. But I like it.

My default icon is the Cate one that says "fantasticmuse," because, duh. I like it because it is pretty universal. It can be happy or sad or calm. Plus: Cate! Hot!
