I was finished with my lecture today and I walked with the professor so we could talk about what I need to do for next week and what I need to hand out for assignments and the like.

It went sorta like this:

SteveO, the prof: So I have a question for you.
Me!:... okay.
SteveO: How would you feel about teaching speech...
Me: *thinks to self* I am teaching speech, did I not just give a lecture?
SteveO:... next year.
Me: Uh... *confused*
SteveO: Because I'm going to bring it up with Chris [The dept. chair] and see if we can send you for training at the University and you can teach the class next year.
Me: Wait. Teaching? The whole year? Actual teaching, not T.A.'ing?
SteveO: Yeah.
Me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!eleventymillion!111!!


*squees hopefully* This is such a good opportunity. I hope it goes through.

So. That's been my day today. Got Sky Captain on dvd last night and will watch it tonight.

Also, blackgarden wants me to rant about ( the one sock that gets lost in the dryer )

I can't believe only one of you wanted me to rant or squee. Do you not love me?
