Well.
One of my favorite professors, my adviser and my movie reviewing partner in crime, passed away very suddenly this weekend.
It's taken some time to sink in, but I am very, very sad. Those of you on my flist who knew Dr. L, shoot me an email if you want to know any more. I've been contacting different people for the past couple of days.
No official word from the school, yet, which honestly kinda pisses me off.
Fuck.

Date: 2007-08-23 04:03 am (UTC)He was a great guy. I was very close with him and his wife, we had a lot in common. He was just one of those people who went out of their way to make a person feel welcome. :) You're right, I've got a legacy of good memories I wouldn't trade for the world.
