fantasticmuseCrisis over, I guess. I'm very tired, but feeling very much better. A lot better than I've felt in a while, actually.
I still haven't gotten any of the jobs I've applied for. The question I'm coming to now is: Stay at home and live rent-free or keep trying to find a job so I can move.
I'm afraid I don't have an answer to that yet.

To pretend the world is not irrevocably changed
would be, at this point,
irresponsible.
Her face is shaped differently,
the jawline and plane of hip
are somehow hollow
her smile is the same
but her shadows come again
pouring over and drowning
the whites of teeth and eyes
She sleeps and gives no thought
to my arms around her
Our world is changed.
That one's mine.
