So, I saw The Day After Tomorrow and I have one thing to say.

SCHWEET!

This is my new all time favorite disaster movie. I mean, this beats out The Poseidon Adventure, Twister, Deep Impact and Mars Attacks on my list of favorite disater movies. And that's saying a lot, for me.

It had everything! Stupid media, jerkoff authority figure, brilliant scientist with lots of emotional issues but still has time to be the only one who knows what's going to happen, the kindly older and more respected person who believes in him, young love, puppies, babies and astronauts!

Eeee. Am happy just thinking about it. The special effects were nicely done, clean and sharp- there was only one part where I felt the presence of a bluescreen, really.

And yeah, it's super cheesy and filled with dramatic statements of the obvious(Beau called one characters "this movie's Legolas). But there are a couple of little ironies that made me smile and a couple of moments that made it really good.

Now my brain's stopped functioning, so I must list my thoughts:

Quite a bit of slash possible

Allen Strange!!!!!one!

The casting of the president and vice president was genius. Or at least funny.

I love storms.

I mean, I really love storms.

Sela Ward can fall off the face of this movie, please.

Yeah, that's all for now.
