Life, with a side of fannishness and some serious matter

So.

I suppose I should use this thing or something.

Let's see... yup, life still boring, for the most part.

Am still going to class, choir and newspaper meetings with disconcerting regularity. Still preparing for my lecture, as it was postponed from last time.

I did get a call from my Autumn, very upset, saying that our boss at the theater I used to work at had killed himself. It wasn't...a shock, really. He'd been behaving erratically for the past few months. I was never really close to him, but still. Disconcerting is the word of the day, I guess.

We might get a new roommate, I guess that's something new. She's a nice girl, but not a super close friend and it seems a little weird to have her moving in but eh. It'll be alright.

There's a poetry jam/open mic night later this month. May perform, with aforementioned new roommate helping out on guitar.

And on the fannish side of life... Well, I need a Cowboy Bebop/Big O crossover like I need oxygen. Cause Spike's in my head and he's dying to mess up Roger's hair and smoke in the house and get Dorothy to bring him food and make fun of Norman but secretly admire him.

I dunno what else, when it comes to fandom. I feel... a little lost, to be honest. LotR FPF and FPS seems to be hiding from me. I can find lots of hobbit fic and that's great but I want more! Where are my men? And women, for that matter? And I'm dying for a few of the more interesting elves.

Maybe I just don't know where to look. I'm not really very good at this fandom thing, after all, I'm starting to think.
