(no subject)

Some things I know:

• If you plan two outdoor weddings for the same day, it will POUR all day. Don't tempt fate like that.
• It is, in fact, possible to catch and throw a splash bomb while floating on one's back in the middle of a lake.
• I am not impervious to sunburn, as was previously thought.
• The Boy's favorite Shakespeare is Twelfth Night. Somehow this makes me love him more.

My mom made cookies. Life is pretty fucking good.

Which means my next news really, really depressing.

Neirlingers and Neirlingers-by-Proxy: Calli's husband was killed in Iraq a couple of days ago.  I'm gonna call Jess and see if there's anything she needs. I doubt it and I don't know what the hell I'd do anyway. *shrug* Can't hurt, though.
