Oh, we were all just tired and one of our friends got snappy. I just wasn't up to dealing with it at the time- when I'm crabby, MommaBear!Elly comes out and... lord help those who threaten what I feel is mine to protect. You should see me when someone actually hurts one of my friends. It's not pretty.

The boy is 17, he'll be 18 in January. Dear god. He'll be a senior this year. *feels old*


How's life?

Improving drastically, actually. I've had a lot of time to do a LOT of soul-searching and thinking and I actually did walk away from Kit this summer, permanently. It really snapped her around and woke her up to reality and things with her have been improving in leaps and bounds. Work sucks but only because of immature coworkers. I'm sure you can relate. I've been exercising nearly every day and that helps to keep me positive. Things are looking up.
