Late night ramble
Jun. 8th, 2004 03:39 amA question- how do you get over self esteem induced writer's block? I've sort of lost my passion for writing and I don't like it. I dunno if I need a break, or good bunny or a smack upside the head, whatever.
Now, don't get me wrong- it's not any sort of debilitating angsty situation and I'm not feeling depressed or anything. I feel quite good, actually.
I think I need to get more sleep, for one thing.
Anyway, enough rambling. Can anyone help me get rid of this block? I know I'm not the only one in the world that writes something and then doesn't like it. But how do you get around that feeling? Logically, I know it's silly. I know that I write, if not well, at least decently. I feel like I'm missing a spark, though. There's a special something I don't have a handle on just yet. But I'm going to find it. Can you point me in the right direction?
Should go back to bed.
